AGWC - Pride (In The Name Of Love)
PRIDE (in the name of love) was performed on the Thursday before Pride in St Andrews Church in Hove.  It was a wonderful evening. Actually Gay Women’s Chorus were joined by soloists Samantha Howard and Gabriella as they celebrated Love, Freedom & Pride!

Both the Actually Gay Women’s Chorus and the Actually Gay Men's Chorus took part in the PRIDE PARADE.
Then one summer's evening, hosted by one of our members who has a beach hut we had marvellous fun with a BBQ on the beach. It was a great evening with everyone bringing food to cook and food to share.

Last week we were honoured to be invited to the Mayor's Parlour

The Actually Choruses are very music focused, and our repertoires are very varied. We give people the opportunity to do, (and discover they enjoy), pieces of music they would never have imagined singing.

Actually Gay Women's Chorus  new term starts on Wednesday 10th September at 7.50pm at St Andrew’s Church, Waterloo St, Hove. This term we will be developing our repertoire and preparing for the Actually annual Christmas Show on the 23 December.  More information to come - watch this space!

Actually Gay Women’s (and Men's) Chorus held an Open Evening in May where the above video was filmed.
The Choruses have recently completed summer shows- PRIDE shows.  Both Choruses are now on holiday but new terms start in September.
The choir welcomes anyone interested in joining a singing group or chorus.

We're are also always looking for non-singing members as well to help in any of our teams such as PR/marketing, fundraising, production, lighting, helping out at rehearsals.  The Chorus always needs the help of skilled members, or volunteers if singing is not for you.

If you are thinking about joining a singing group or chorus, or want to be involved in a flourishing community group then the next time to join will be September.  Watch this space for more information.

We’re a sociable bunch of people from all walks of life, who have had a lot of fun together over the years, and have even more planned in the future (Watch this space!)
